attention michiganders and those willing to drive into the heart of detroit:

thunderbirds are now! includes 1/2 of red shirt brigade! if only it was the upper torsoes of all four members..... that'd be 1/2, technically speaking. actually, it's scott and ryan allen, two-fourths of RSB. but you already knew that, mr and mrs scenester.

make sure you are there i hear this is there last show ever.
Hey everybody!

We're playing our last show for awhile on Saturday, May 11th, so we thought we would use the handy dandy invention known as the "internet" and advertise for the show.  Pretty clever, huh?

bands, in order of appearance:

ARMY/NAVY
-piano pop from mount pleasant... you WILL like them.
THE POP PROJECT
-ann arbor's favorite band since andrew wk
TIARA
-from ohio, kind of like if grandaddy and dinosaur jr were siamese twins
RED SHIRT BRIGADE
-like zach morris, no introduction is neccessary
DUB NARCOTIC SOUND SYSTEM
-k records legend calvin johnson's funk band... sassy

what you need to know:
VENUE: CPOP Gallery
ADDRESS: 4160 Woodward Ave, Detroit, 48201
WEBSITE: www.cpop.com
PHONE (VENUE): 313.833.9901
DOORS OPEN: 6:30 PM/bands @ 7:00
COVER CHARGE: 8 Dollars
AGES: All Ages

we hope to see a lot of you out at the show... sorry it's so expensive, but we have to pay not 1 but 2 touring bands (though we're sure Calvin doesn't really need the money)... so get hip to it, eh?
